What do you guys do when your running a number plate when running a centermount exhaust? My number plates keep getting burnt the way i mount them. It also blows the oil all over the plastic. If i possibly mount the number plate farther towords the end of the grab bar?

I have the same problem, except I don't have a number plate, I have an aluminum plate I made to put the ORV/state park stickers on. The plate and my plastic constantly get all black, especially when my quad isn't warmed up. I'm thinking about fitting some type of turn down on it, maybe a CT or a Duncan. I will call them sometime and get the diameters to see if it will work, otherwise I might have to get a custom billet one made.

Yea a turn down would be nice. But i didnt really want a 90 degree turn down like the duncan. I would just like to have a pretty short 45. I dont really like the look of a turd falling out of the exhaust like the duncan turn downs look like. :p

I don't like the look of the Duncan either. I like the CT.

i didn't like centermounts, jmo, and the number plate issue just gave me another reason to stay away from them. i also do not like the pt turn down, but would like something like it for sound purpose.

anyone have that pt mounted up with a pic? perhaps it looks better mounted.

But i really want an end cap that looks like this, but with a little more length and turn down to it.

Yeah, that would be nice. Maybe we will have to design a billet one and have a machine shop make it. I might be able to get it done at work. Another thing I might make is a coolant reservoir that is about the same size as a shock reservoir- billet aluminum and anodized. I would mount it on the vertical rail right behind the radiator. It would be pretty hidden, but also look really trick.

if you change the length of the silencer it changes the tuning of it?

Youd have to look into this but you might be able to use a ltr450 one being as they have a center-mount also i believe the plate hangs lower then normal to accommodate them or you can use one of theese http://img.off-road.com/aimages/articlestandard/atv/122007/413356/ltrhep-um_040.jpg
