300ex help

i have a 1998 honda 300ex well i have gone threw all the jets from a 170 down to a 100 runs grat with a 118 and 35 pilot jet but when i put the air tube on that gose to the air box with out the air box on yet it boggs out at 1/2 to wide open throttle so i put the box and ire filter on same thing y would it do that i even took the pipe off to see if it was plugged and it did not help totaly new spark plug to I checked everything i am stumped any suggestions help

If it's bogging at 1/2 throttle, then your needle clip is too low (when the clip is lower, the needle is higher, which means richer jetting).

ok so if it is the middle i go up or down
