Do you guys allow ATC250Rs????

Im hopefully getting a 85-86 ATC250R here in the next couple weeks, if everything pans out right.

if not now i will be getting one in the near future

i was just wondering if its cool if i post in this section, im building a 400EX at the moment to and i post in there alot, but just wondering

85-86 atc is the same motor as the 86 trx.

The TRX250R was introduced for the 1986 model year to answer Suzuki’s LT250R, released the year prior. Honda borrowed many parts from its 3 wheel ATC250R for the Fourtrax’s design, including the engine and rear suspension. Although mechanically similar, Honda detuned the engine for use in the Fourtrax, through reduced compression and less aggressive porting, to ensure that the added weight of the quad would not adversely affect the reliability of the engine.

Are you serious? You think I don't know that. Don't try and belittle me. I am just saying I don't go by or believe everything on the internet. For example it says the 86R top speed was 69 mph and the 88R was 85mph. Highly doubt that.

mine with stock gearing and the ESR trx-6 pipe probably doesnt go 50. but it gets there VERY quickly.

with stiock gearing of course.

yeah no offense but i was thinking the same if your 250 is doing 50 mph estimate then something is definitely wrong with your motor or you've got like 12 inch tires and accelerate to that 50 mph in 2 seconds?

it was a slight exaduration. but, if your piped for bottom end its not going to go any faster than 60-65 mph.

stock tire size. stock gearing and the engine is pretty fresh. 180 psi.

85-86 i mean, the 83-84 looks pretty cool to, not a real big fan of the 81-82, but id still like to own one from each bodystyle

right now im just trying to find a 85
