Anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong with my 2003 400ex. When I compress the back shock and it rebounds back up, it is making a loud cracking noise. The shock seem to work fine, I just wonder what the noise is. I have checked my swing arm bolt and it is fine. I checked the shock linkage and where it connects to the swing arm and it looks fine. I also checked the top mount (to the frame) on the shock and every thing is good. There is no oil or anything leaking out of the shock and no rocks or anything stuck in the spring. Any ideas? Anyone have a stock rear 400ex shock they want to sell cheap?
