pre winter rebuild 2010-11

This year im goin to focus on the internal of my bike rather than the outer layer. I plan to re PC the arms and subframe with a few more odds and ends but thats as far as ill go with the looks wise. I'll be adding the most important mods ENGINE.

heres a quick list of what my plans are.

Engine:
mmad port polish head
mmad custom intake cam
42mm carb bored
new cylinder
hinson or gytr clutches
cp 14:1 piston
NEW stock crank and bearings
oil mod side case
high flow oil pump
valve seals
timing chain
HD motor mounts
rebuild water pump seals bearings
exhaust repack
Head bolts

PC list:
bumper white
grab bar white
aarms lowers white uppers blue
subframe satin black


body mods:
new graphics (maybe)
new # plates
seat cover
grips

Feel free to voice your opinion and add anything to the lists that i might should consider

hence dustin called me out lol Ive since blew the motor and the rebuild process has started. Just picked up new graphics kit from spastic designs. Everyone is welcome to post their opinions.

love the graphics and motors gonna be sick. I just bought a set of artrax tires i know you ran them this year. Do you still like them?

Oh yeah i recommend the regular fmf 4 stroke packing. it looks like a white pillow kinda. It lasts for a long time and thats not just fmf bias talk either.

What I use to rebuild all my thumper pipes too. Pimp, you rebuild that damn bike every few months don't u?

i like to keep it looking good plus the motor blew so i had to get it fixed. im not powder coating the frame again just a arms and some engine pieces. new graphics and the motor parts is all im doing.

so mxpimp is adam houchin cool, We followed your idea in powdercoating the springs on the shocks, just took my brothers peps apart to have the springs in green and black, Your stuffs looking good man

thats me man lol thanks its just a small setup i have at the shop right now but i send my big parts to pappy on here and he does way better than i could ever try to do. should have some more pics when i get my motor done

What did you polish the clutch cover with?

What kind of header wrap is that, I've never seen any so white? lol

How much did it run to have your swinger PCed?

I polished it by hand. Had to sand it with 220 400 800 1000 2000 wet sand took a long time but looks good. Pappy on his site pcd my swinger he charges around 65.
