How many CC's do you put in your 450R ?

How many CC's of motor oil do you guys put in your 2004-2005 TRX450R's ? Each side that is ?

Pretty sure the engine oil side is .9 of a quart, and tranny side is right around 600cc's, But I'm sure someone on here knows it all so much better and will tell you what they think they know.

Yea I'm thinking the same thing. I just hate playing the watching and guessing game haha. I see that the Clutch/Tranny side cover says 650ccm, does that indicate the oil amount needed? My father in-law says thats what it means but I never take the In-Laws Word lol.

Sounds about right. Although that's probably if there was not one spec of old oil left when changing. On a normal basis, fine, but if you did a rebuild, or change the oil filter, going to be a little more. Its always a guessing game, lol.

Well I put in 200cc in at a time until I reached 600cc then went to 50cc after that on the clutch side and it took 700cc before it would come out of check bolt. So I guess thats a good starting point for the measuring cup, if you use one.

I put 900ccs in the engine side and 650cc's in the clutch side.
