Hitting rev limiter at 5,000 rpms?

lately ive been racing the last 4 races with my bike that only revs until 5000 rpms and hits the rev limiter. its hard to keep up after the second lap.

My Question is what could be causing this? Ive switched out several rev boxs and nothing and also ive switched out the stator and still nothin has changed. i have this thing on a dyno so i know that its at 5000 rpms.

Our quad is doing this as well and swapped the cdi and it is still doing this?? Did you or anyone else no what to look for?
Plug changed check
Carb cleaned check

Any Ideas?

try the coil could be on its way out. had this happen to an trx450r to us this year.we swap it out with an cr85 monster coil we had laying around and were still using it to this day.
