.45 long colt or any of the judge specific rounds are nice. i wouldnt shoot slugs at all there not accurate and are alot smaller than the 45 long colt. there great guns just watch the small stuff on the gun esp. the little pin that holds the cylinder in the center those tend to be what malfunctions first. but other than that there awesome. i just dont get how this guns legal when i cant have a sawed off shotgun but anyways im glad it is.
