Ok heres my dilema. I need to jet up for my LRD pipe i have, it says to run a 165 main but i think thats a bit rich? I'm running a K&N with a holey air box, i have a 152 right now, since i had a WB slip on pipe before.. What is everyone else running with there LRD's, my motor is all stock. Also are these the right jets http://www.denniskirk.com/powervendor/details/detail.asp?serverid=OffRoad&PartNo=170051

4strokeguy I'd just buy the kit and play around with different setups. I got the dynojet kit and its sweet! I'd highly recommend it. Comes with everything you need and tells you how to confesate for different elevations and mods that you have.

Hi,

Most of the racers we work with over here in NJ/PA region use the following for their stock engines:

* 165-170 main jet
* 52 pilot
* clip in the middle
* hi-rev cdi box
* air box lid OFF, replace with Outerwears air box cover which is breathable, but repels water
* Twin Air Foam Filter w/ Outerwears filter cover which also repels water

This seems to work very well for the racers with stock engines.

The reason LRD suggests bigger jets with a their better flowing pipes is because with more air & fuel it will give it more HP. The pipe won't work to the best performance without complementing it with the proper jetting.

Hope that was some help to you. Feel free to call us if you need tech advise any time!
