The Hetrick 90 pipe imo. Trackside is a good choice too.

depends on how your rider likes to race
there are bottom end pipes
there are top end pipes
hows does your rider ride? on the top side or the bottom
find that out .then find the pipe with that characteristic
all the pipes work but what will work for your rider is the key

This was actually way back in my mini days, and Jon sent me a 2 piece stamped pipe that was not the standard cone welded way a mini was made. I think he said it was a prototype he got for Trinity. Anyway, I was serious about it being the best all around mini pipe that I had used and seen at the time. I bought 2 more of them and when Bob went to go buy one, I had bought them all up. I just wanted to jab the old would again with him and just wanted to have a chance to bring Jon's name up again, because back in the day there was alot of controversy around him. But since no one else got it... I guess the jokes on me.
I have been around these things wayyyyyyy to long.:eek2:

hehe, I did get it.
Interesting theorys back then. Jon told me that they were designed for 9500rpm's. I shortened the head pipe to get it to 10,500.
At that time I wondered why the goal wasn't 12k+. Seems ppl figured that part out.......a few years later.

It is funny on how much has changed and stayed the same in the years of the mini. It has been a fun ride... that is for sure, but I am glad to be out of them!
