Bike is Smokin and shooting gas out the intake

my carb, is shooting gas out of the part that connects to the boot that connects to the airbox.... it is also smoking real bad and i have a BLACK plug......what is going on (hope i dont need a rebuild)

Sounds like some part of the carb. is clogged or dirty!! maybe jetted wrong.......ever mess with the idle air screw!! sounds like too much fuel flow...maybe float bowl needs cleaned or floats are stuck open.....many many possiblitys ..........take it to a carb man with a trusted name.....should line it out!!

I'd check for a stuck float first. Even if the head gasket was bad, I don't think you would have raw gas coming out anywhere.

hey micheal sorry if name is spelled wrong but really i think its going to be a trial & error kind of thing. it could be just simply the jetting is way to rich. i would try that fist then see if the floats are stuck. i would say that this should cover most problems

well i took the float out and i think i put it back in right..... i was thinking jetting also but its not cause i had stocker in and it was doin it so i put a 120 in and it still did it..... this is a different carb i am running now and its doin it.... with the other it never did it so im gonna try it... there is no difference between carbs becuase they are both stock except one is smooth bored.... ill try the other when i get home... wish me luck and any more ideas would be appriciated:D

did u put it in backwards?, cuz its shooting gas out towards the airbox it could be cuz the throttle injector thing squirting gas into it

Sounds like a stuck float to me.....just my 2 cents.

if its a little stream shooting out, then u have the carb on bacwards, but chances are slim. What u might wanna check, check the valves. If the intake valves arestuck open for some ungodly reason, the pressure from the piston could be forcing it back out. But i would check the valves.
