I dont think i will have time this fall to post up individual pics so i put the deer cam stuff into galleries. We are about to log this place so it could go cold or get hot ....not sure how the deer are going to react haha! Enjoy! I will also post new images into the 2010 gallery every couple of days.

Kindda hard to do here my 30 acres is 80% woods and im surrounded by 3000+ acres of state land. About the time i drop 50lbs of shelled corn i d prolly get a knock on the door by mr DNR officer lol so i will play by the rules. Hey pappy whats the crossbow law like there ? They just passed it so 10yr olds can use them here now :ermm:

LOL..the squash and garden left overs are to fatten up the Coons and Grinners. The boys like trapping them after deer season is over.

Biggest issues here last year were new people hunting the next ridge over...heard way to many shots for them to be killing a legal number and the camera showed nothing much in the area which compared to 2008 was nothing. I was getting 300 + images a night in 08!

The acorns were a bit off as well. Around here if a ridge 5 miles away is hot, thats where the deer will be.

I have seen a solid 8 pointer this year here but that is about it. There is a 54 acre tract that holds mega deer and gets pressured some years. The years it gets hunted we get the deer.

kind of a dumb question pappy but what kind of deer cam do you got?

Moultrie D40 I believe. Not the best out there but do ok. I would love to save up for the model that sends the images directly to your computer in real time! I just dont have the $1600 for one haha

4 new bucks now showing up, nothing big by any means but they are coming. Take note of the trace mineral block....they love it! After it melts into teh soil from rain and snow, next year there will be a hole 3 feet wide by a foot deep as they go after it!

I also see where Moultrie now has an add on system so that images will upload direct to your pc! If you have a moultrie model (might accept others) it will run you about $150. In a few weeks, i will put a 200 pound feeder out and have this system in place.

wow there hitting that good all night! it looks like there coming in a little to late at night for legal shooting lite, but the morning looks promising! for the night time hunt you'll have to get them quit aways away out on there trail, but looks very promising

all the deer in your pics are soo young, if there was a way to protect those bucks they would probly mature into some nice deer, its the same way here too, all the deer are young. my uncle shot a 8 pointer last year he was probly a 2.5 to 3 year old deer, the rack wasnt huge but he was a HUGE bodied deer, prob almost 250 to 275 lbs

but that buck above me is pretty nice, just imagine him as a 5, to 6 year old deer, MONSTER, lol

That is used in some parts of the midwest, but it is used to cut population down. along with disease

Sadly there is no way to let them get old here. First chance someone gets they will kill just about anything with horns..legal or illegally.

Second shooter has arrived. This deer is 3 1/2....for this area he is a very nice buck
