Pismo Endurance race

Anybody hear anything about the Pismo Endurance race being put back on for 2010? I know they didn't have one last October, but I was hoping they would get it going again this year.

Ok so I did a little research and found the email to one of the guys who runs the race. This was his reply....

"I am sorry to report that there will not be a race in 2010. There are a number of factors, but the biggest issue is the current controversy over OHV use in the dunes. This has made the permit process impossible.

We hope to bring the race back, but we will have to take it year by year.
