DG Baja skid plate problem

Trying to install a DG skid plate on my 300ex. Spent two hours trying to get 7 friggin bolts in. They are binding, the bolts are about a 1/4" too short, afraid Im cross-threading. Starting to really piss me off. The holes seem like theyre just barely out of alignment. Anybody have any advice. I will never buy another DG product. Please help.

You may have to drill out the holes a little. This seems to happen alot with any aluminum product, for some reason.

Drilled the holes out. Got all but 2 bolts to fit. That will have to do. I will never buy another DG product.

That will not have to do. This skid plate will take 1 heck of a beating and WILL fall off. Put ALL the bolts in. Plus put some blue loctite on the threads! I check our's before EVERY race!
