I checked the plug the other day and just wanted to make sure it looked right I've got a HMF slip-on, K&N air filter, and a dyna CDI box and air box lid off. My main question is it looks fine on the bottom part by the threads but on the top it looks like its lean. It runs good with all three different tunes and doesn't seem to get hot even the head pipe doesn't seem hot rode it the other day in shorts and didn't get hot on my leg. I live in south central indiana elevation I ride in is from 500 to 700 feet. The first one seemed to more bottom end kind of seemed like it toped out real quick. The last tune I did I opened it up a bunch just to see if that was too much then I would know to go in between the too, but it looks lean to me just by looking at the top part.

Started out with 158 main, 42 pilot, 3rd notch on needle and 1.5 turns on F/A screw.

you cannot just pull the plug like that and tell anything, you have to do a actual plug chop, Ill post some info for you.

Thanks for the info didn't know all that first time messing with a carb and it's driving me nuts just want to make sure I'm not running lean don't want to melt the motor down. I'll have to try it out that way and see what I come up with.
