thats pretty ugly, i dont think i would use it but im interested to see what others say about it. it may be worth contacting the person you got it from and get your money back if it was not stated that the cylinder was wrecked. the sleeve can be bored out but it may be tough to weld the hole back up and fix it right. steve

Hey, If you paid for it through PayPal or Ebay you can get your money back. Just a thought. Although he may say it wasn't like that when he shipped. Sorry bout your luck.

pretty sure that hole will cause you problems. it looks like it goes through, and thats an oil passage.

If you are sure that hole hasn't got into the oil passage, and that the bolt will tighten down in the hole, you're probably alright if its a stock bore cylinder. If its still stock bore it will clean up after a bore job (if I had to guess you could probably go 86mm), however, I can only see the cylinder I can't feel it or how deep those scuffs are.

i would do for it and i would try to hone the cylinder before u go for a bore unless u already planed on boreing it

To me it looks like someone has already tried honing it. If you look you can see the cross hatch lines which would say that someone tried honing out the scuffs or it ran only a couple minutes before it blew up and did the damage. If that bolt hole isn't too messed up,which it looks like it is, I would say to bore it.
