2002 Suzuki LTa50.

So, i opened up the intake, exhaust, better muffler. Stock main jet is 55.

I put a 80 in it, and it wouldnt run. Put a 70 in it and it runs good, but it bogs a little down low. As it warms up, the bogging down low gets worse. Then it wont idle very long. Im just assuming its getting to much fuel.

Smaller jet??? THoughts?

Try putting a 60 main in it. Or move the clip on the needle 1 or 2 notches higher.

Funny how someone here put a 85 and said it ran great. Mine wouldnt even run with an 80. lol

bogging usually means too much air and not enough fuel.

I thought that also.
In the resurectionof my 250R It has a bog. After running, the plug is almost black..Too much fuel.

Stock LT80's are 20/92.5..my motors run 37.5 and 77.5
So not allways do you go up in jet size after modifications.

Course...I didn't hear about you working on the head to bring the compression back after opening up the exhaust.
If you raised the exhaust, you need to shave the head.

I opened up the intake, but the exhaust there was nothing blocking.

So if it bogs downlow then opens up. How do i get MORE fuel at the bottom end????

I have the stock pilot jet still installed. I read some guys will remove one of the two pilot jets.

Talk to mike at jetsrus, he said i should restrict the air and see if it runs better or worse....

I hear that there is a pilot jet on top of a pilot jet in those. Try removing the top one. :)

Going to give that a shot. FIrst im gonna try the air restriction a bit and see what happens....

I ordered some more jets to play with. When it was running, the thing is badass now. Before it wouldnt do a donut in the sand or anything. Now it kicks up sand and everything. lol...
