What makes you think you need a new lever??? you could reuse the lever you have unless it is broken..... or bent... but you can get a OEM cable for around 20 bucks or less... or you can search around and get a aftertmarket one...

i have a msr aof on my 05, and an applied racing lever on my 02, both around 30 bucks, ball bearings, and pull like butter.

bought the applied lever a few yrs back and the msr i just got, apon getting my msr i put them side by side i and i think that the same metal foundry makes them, (pours them)
anyway- both good

for a cable i run the 92' 250x cable, from honda, 16 bucks and you can route it away from the header

I have the MSR aof as well and love it, I use a motion pro terminator cable and run it thru the headers like stock. When it melts Im doing a 250x cable.

What are the advantages to the 250X cable?

x2 on the MSR AOF and I do have the 250X cable. The advantage of the 250X cable is that it is longer and can be run down the frame rail instead of through the headers. This set up is soooooooo smooth and easy to pull.

this might be a type-o but...

you need the 250x cable, not the 250ex
