? about air boot

I have a 1992 LT250R that years ago I put a 38mm PWK Airstryker on. Up to this point, the air boot on the airbox side I have used the method of heating the carb end in boiling water to stretch it over the carb. The stock carb being 34mm, so have to stretch it to fit the 38mm. I am wondering, would a boot from an LT500 fit? They use a 38mm carb, stock. So that end would be good. I assume the airbox end is the same diameter as the 250? Also The intake is angled so less of a bend in the air boot going around the rear shock, wondered how that would work out on the 250. Too bad Zuki never did that with the 250... :confused:

Great question.... I know the 500 boot will work on the 90 and earlier models, but not sure the way the boot curves around the shock on 91-92's..... I'd also be interested to know.... Sorry I'm no help!!
