hey guys. i have an mx setup 450r that i wanna try something different on. I love the way its setup and am comfortable on it. Im the kind of person that rides wide open at all times and its really takin a tolle on my motor. its gettin really high maintenance and im just ready for something different. Im thinkin of finding a CR250 engine and doing a new style 250R hybrid just to play on some. I wanna be able to do it all with fabricated motormounts. i dont want to butcher the frame up so that if i want to go back to the 450 engine sometime i can. Has this ever been done and how much would it take to make that 2stroke run like my 470.

go with one of the new yamaha 450 dirtbike engine
they are a 450 four stroke, but they only weigh as much as a 250 2-stroke and they make tons more power...
