OK, if take the cam cover off the EX, do I need to have a cover gasket on hand for it? Or is it a reusable rubber type?

you mean the valve cover? Its the metal type thats reusable I think.

ive had mine off without changing it a couple of times. i guess it is alright till it leaks lol. steve

OK, thanks...

Thought I might take that off one of these days and have a look-see since I have never done anything but peek through the caps when adjusting valves.

I had to replace mine after 5-6 times at the least so once should be fine.
