alright so i got my shocks in off a 450r

did a slight grind on the eye, and they slide in and fit just right

the only problem is that the eyes that the bottom bolts go through are to wide(radius), seems like their should be a bushing or something in there?

they would rattle around if i bolted it in like that

any help would be greatly appreciated

there should be a bushing that goes in the bottom also, just like the top has. steve

Unfortunately that’s one of those little details we sometimes overlook when buying something like that. I don’t know, maybe the old one from the stock shock will fit?

any good hardware store has a wide variety of steel bushings.
alot of people don't notice them, because they dont know where to look.
( They are usually in those stacked yellow drawers that are stuffed in the back corner of the store).
If you can, look up a local INDUSTRIAL hardware store. They will surely have them.
Shouldn't cost more than a buck a piece.

just food for thought.

I actually bought some of these exact bushings hes talkin about, I only found ones that were a lil big so I ground them down myself till they fit snuggly, they actually held up for a long time and worked just like the real deal.

If you do this, just keep them greased and clean and all will work fine.
