So I recently purchased a 400ex durablue axle on ebay, got it, found out it was a 250r axle, got new wheel hubs. Now, I'm curious as to if the 400ex rear rotor hub is going to fit this axle or am I going to have to get a 250r rear rotor hub. Which wouldn't be a big deal, because my stock 400 rotor hub is wasted anyway. Which would be better or would fit 250r or 400ex? Any info would be great. Thanks

will not fit. 400ex has 24 spline count and 250r have 25 spline count.

hey man..didn't mean for it to be like that in the 250r forum. When i checked here I didn't have a response yet. Sorry if that sounded bad. But I know the splines on the rear wheel hubs are different spline counts. So its the same for the splines on brake hub as well? I had a lonestar sprocket hub for 400ex and that fit like a glove on the 250r axle. I have done a good amount of research here on the forums, and it seems to be on going questions with integrating parts.

So down and dirty I just need to buy the 250r antifade and rotor to get my rear end back together?

Again sorry for the miscommunication jcs003......

went out today and 400ex rear rotor hub did fit on a 250r axle, splines were the same. Only thing that is different is the wheel hubs being a different spline count. Sprocket and Rotor hubs are same spline counts and will fit
