rim size? 8,9,10

For your rear rims, what would be better for a mx set up on 20inch tires 8,8, or 10 inch rims.

I have 9's now. i would think that 10" would be better stability but not soak up bumps as well. vice versa for 8 inch, so i guess 9 is ideal?

i am talking about rim size, not tire size.

a 20 inch tire is a 20 inch tire even if its on a 19 inrim its still a 20 inch tire.

a 10 inch rim/tire combo will weigh less than a 8 inch rim/tire combo if you were running the same tire. however the 10 inch will be lower profile. follow me

the 9" holeshot mx setup is good. i've run it since it came out and i like it alot.

I am running the 9" MX holeshots too. I like it alot. Make sure you keep the pressure up in them though. Mine kept going flat in the beginning, but we pumped them up to like 10, now they are fine. Also keep your eye on those little tit things near the bead of the tire. THere was one caught in the bead of my tire, which also helped it go flat....lol
