450r Plastic on a 400ex

Has anyone ever herd of putting 450r plastics on a 05 400ex Will it work im wondering I have an 05' and I would like to put the 08 plastic from a 450r on it

I have seen 450r plastics on a 400EX before and it looked good. I think it was a 03 400ex but i am not sure what year the 450r was. But i dont know if he used the stock fule tank or how he mounted them.

What about possibly using the 09' 400ex plastics or whatever the new body style is.

it should fit. you will have to probaly get the 08 and up's mounting brackets. the gas tank may also be changed on the 08's.
