thats a nice gun. we were looking at some glocks, but in MA they have to predate 98 so they were all pretty beat up being 12 yrs old.

Not familiar with MA gun laws. What do you mean by predate '98? You can't buy a pistol made after '98 or what? What's the reasoning behind that? Just curious.

nobody can understand this state's laws. apperently the standards for the rest of the country arent good enough for us. we can buy new handguns, but they have to have more safety features like loaded chamber indicators. a ton of gun companies dont want to go through the hassle of trying to be MA complient

we also cant have magazines that hold more than 10 rounds (unless they were manufactured before 1990)

i really hate these laws...and this state

Ahh. Gotcha! That sucks. I suppose you won't be getting a glock anytime soon lol.

My mag holds 15 rounds :D Sorry, didn't mean to rub it in. Louisiana has pretty lax gun laws. I guess that's most of the south also.

That's crazy! I didn't know some states were still like this. I couldn't imagine going into a gas station and not seeing a whole cooler full of beer. I think that's how these gas stations make half of their profits around here lol.

its like this because of our state runned liquor stores....also known as state stores. all alcohol sold their is purchased and sold by the state government....

in pa we have a 105 alcohol tax that the mass majority of people do not know about, which stems from the johnstown floods in the late 1930's. the state gov't enacted a 10% alcohol tax in order to raise $20million to help the victims of the flood stay on their feet.

this led to the gov't run liquor stores. the state gov't is severely trying to hold out on allowing alcohol to be sold in gas stations/grocery stores because this would lead to privatization of liquor stores, which would put the state run stores out of business.

this is why, when you go everywhere else, you see 24 pack cases, and here in pa, we usually buy 30 packs and such...

in 2008, the PA gov't collected over $290 mill in tax from alcohol sales from liquor stores and beer distributors.

sheetz corp is fighting tooth and nail to let them sell alcohol in their gas stations.
