-ben Ben is also referring to a paddle he needs for duning at St. Anthonys.. I suggested the hauler for climbing since its alot of climbing there ,turbo paddles, or a glider... maybe in 7 paddles?? what ya think ??? I dunno much about the 250x ..

I'm 140 pounds. I am hesitent about the haulers becsue I'm not sure if i have the power to move um good through the sand. Well i am going to go buy some honda parts for the quad now. Please give me a heads up on those of u that own 250x and 300ex's that run in sand.
Thanks

-Ben Im tellin ya Ben,...ifyou plan on riding here at St. Antohys, you better get a good climbin paddle, just ask a few others that have been to these dunes, they will tel you the same.. if you want to climb, get the haulers if you want to do light climbing and just dink around then you can go with many other paddles.glider or Hauler is the best for you....

Don't go with anything over 20', your X will protest it. My friend has 2 stock 250X's and runs pro-wedges on the, they work really well even though they are 22's.

Glider 6 paddle, any more tire than that and you are going to need a 400ex to push them. I run 7 paddle haulers on my 440 and they are better than 8's, I have a set of them too.

Something like a dune hopper has shorter straight paddles than a hauler. They don't sap as much power from a 250x. Also a dune slidder has a v-paddle that will displace less sand and allow for easier turning and donuts. My grand daughters run them both on their 250x's. They are also less money than the Skat Trak and Sand Skate tires.
