I definatly think in a drag race the TRX!!

I personally dont really like the kfx, I have about 20 hours riding time on them, and they just dont have the snap the trx does,

but that being said, if your trail riding the kfx is very comfotrable, and is a better handling quad, in slow tight trails the trx takes constant clutching,Which I really dont mind. but the kfx suspension is well suited for trail riding!

All i have done to my TRX is exhaust, filter, and full HRC kit.

And about 3-4 weeks ago i raced a 2008 Polaris Outlaw525 piped/filter/ect, 2008 KTM450 bone stock, 2008 KTM525 piped/filter/ect, CanAm 450X (don't know the year) piped/filter/ect and beat them all!
Only losing once to the CanAm because i hit neutral going to 2nd.

Although it has a lot to do with rider. The Polaris was on pavement. The rest were dirt.

Test ride them, this is a honda site bro, your going to get different things from people about how they beat the kfx by 2 or more bike lengths, same goes for if you asked this question on a kawasaki site. Its all rider anyways.

I own a KFX and I love it, but I also own an 05 450r and like it, but prefer the KFX over the R. Both are great, go ride them both if you can, then decide. Good luck

i have a 07 trx 450r with ac flow full exhaust uni filter and no lid, and a 14 tooth front sprocket.
my buddy has a 08 kfx450r with a 15 tooth sprocket 37 rear, fuel customs intake system and an aftermarket computer, two brothers full exhaust and he can't touch me in a drag race on the highway.
as far as riding they are both nice i love honda due to their light front ends.

my 05' is all stock.

My friend also has an 05' and it has a White Bros carbon fiber full exhaust, filter, and its jetted. When I got my kawi in 08' brand new, he would pull on me about 1/4 of a bike, thats it. Now I have a full exhaust, procom ECU, and an FCI Intake and I win.

But I love both quads.

Easier and cheaper to get power out of the TRX but the kawi has better handling and a much better frame. I have had fully built national mx LTRs, Hondas and a KFX, the ltr and trx are much better for mx RACING, but the Kawi was more fun to jump b/c it feels so light in the air.
