Another pipe recommendation

So I am pulling my motor in my R so i can do some rebuilding. I have a new motor on it's way also. I also have a Sparks 265 cylinder coming. I am going to take one of my stock cylinders and get it ported for upper midrange by one of the top port guys. Either way I have mid- upper mid porting, 265-269cc, 38 A/S, ESR intake setup, Race gas setup. May go to a 310 on one of the motors. I do a lot of open feild/ open trail riding and some open woods riding.
I really want to try the TRX9 pipe but I'm afraid the bottom end will be terrible. I have had the TRX5 and liked it, just wish it had a tad bit more top end. I know a few guys love the trx9 and would go to nothing else.

Which one of these pipes would you guys recommend??????:ermm:

Hey the trx9 would probally suit you well. I have a trx11 on my 310 and I didnt lose alot of bottoms as many people say you do. Everyone that has the 9 love it. I wanted one but I went with the 11 because I got it super cheap.

Thanks Wes. I also would like to get the centermount, but the only issue is you can't change out the silencer with anything else later.

I've got the TRX-9 and I can't really notice any lose on bottom end. Its (IMO) the best pipe I've ever ran on a 250R.

I love mine too. My favorite so far. I also have a Sparks TT, which hits a little harder but has much less bottom end as well as less over-rev. Mine is a centermount and I love that too- besides it makes my plastic dirty behind it. It has awesome response, very crisp. The only real complaint I have with my 9 is that it is now completely blue and purple.

Yeah thats my biggest complaint about esr pipes too. In no time they are blue, gold, purple, you name it...
It looks like I am leaning more towards the trx9 now for sure.


Isn't there some kind of cleaner that helps get rid of the discoloration on the esr chrome??

I ordered my trx9 centermount last night. Cant wait to try it out..
