what is a 84 ford ranger worth with a 2.8 swap 4x4 reg cab long box, i would say 150K on it, body is really clean, very little rust, needs exhaust put on but he has it and the starter bolts are stripped out and it also has a new carb on it.

whats it worth as it sits with needing that little bit of work and in perfect running Cond.

2k at most, its old and the 2.8 (sure its not 2.9L) isnt a very popular engine.

Id offer than a thousand the starter bolts will be fun, the exhuast needs to be put on?? yea Id say a g note is what I would offer.

I'd give 1k at the most if the body is decent.

its a truck i have that im trying to sell i have it at 400 as it sits now, it runs fine and it is a great truck, i just dont use it and dont want to piss with it, i have it at 400 firm and people act like its a big huge deal, it is what it is, its not a show truck but its a good truck that isnt rotted to ****...

or am i on crack for listing it a 400 just to get rid of it? I said i would fix it up to be a DD but i would want more money for it, the exhaust would take me a hour at most to put on and the bolt would take me a hour at most once i have everything there and it on the lift at my cousins.

400 sounds about right. For those saying $800 and a grand are insane.

Fix the starter bolts, put the exhaust on, and fix all the little things that are wrong with it (loose mirror, battery tie down, broken door handle, you know all those little types of things that break on older cars that are never big or important enough to fix) an THEN it might be worth a grand, maybe even $1200 depending on the condition. The condition of the interior actually makes a big difference.

I've been working on it slowly, i've told every on that the more and more i do to it the more i'll want and they all say yeah thats only fair.

I said a grand assuming he fixes it.

Ive seen them worth more, it depends where you live. In NJ EVERYTHING is more. The same F150 here costs 2-3k less elsewhere.

well im getting calls and e-mails up the butt but no one comes out to look at it.. I wont go any lower then 400 cause its a working truck that has 4x4 in WI that is one thing that when the saying "when it rains it pours" well same thing with snow, if we get it snow we get snow, and you NEED 4x4 unless you can drive like a crazy good...
