Hi here's my problem. We are from puerto riico and my sun ride in the only class exist here"90cc" we
Have a drr 70cc with the folowing set up. Malossi mhr replica, malossi variator with 42 grams rollers, 21 keihim carb,hetrick 2 gen, red rear spring, stock crank, 19 front slipper, 31 rear sproket. I change the stock variator for looking top speed but I can't find nothing. I'm new in this world"CVT" and I know everithing is tunning but I know nothing about set up. May be some body know somenthig and help me. What we nee to find the corect tunning, thanks and apreciate. Joel

the carb seems small and the rollers can't be 42grams.I would install 4.0 gram rollers with 787 belt and 1500 ztr torque spring.also would use 2000 shoe springs.I would try to up grade the carb to atleast a 24mm but i prefer the 28mm myself.

What brand"the carb" with or without power jet? What brand "the belt"? Can I use my rear red malossi spring? What color is the is the shoes spring? Really thanks

carb most on these are keihin , the red spring might work but i use yellow malossi and 3.5 rollers with red shoe springs that are 2000. you have to watch out the colors could be differnt for diff. manufactures. red is not always 2000 you need to go with numbers not colors you tune your 70 right and you should be able to beat 90s atleat on holeshot rest is up to rider....

I run the ZTR brand and they have the numbers wrote right on the springs. 1500 torque spring(big spring) and 2000 shoe spring(3 little springs) and 4.0 gram roller but i am down to 3.75 grams rollers now.


On our air cooled motor with this set-up we wheely out the gate and more times than none we take the whole shot over everything 90's included.It runs really well in the mid and top end with this set-up also.

I have a 3.9 new rollers pakage, I try this first and plus carb, the spring 1500 and 2000 shoes spring, thanks

hey guys i try this set up but i replaced the clutch for new one mallosi delta ajustable. can i use my stock 107mm bell or i need a aftermarket bell? how i set up the rpm? somebody tell me i need used 787 belt but here in Puerto Rico i just find malossi belt ,but malossi NO HAVE NUMBER, how i know what kind a malossi belt use? I have a malossi variator. i put 24grams on rollers but the quad rev fast but i cant find spped. any recomendation? thanks

the delta clutch takes the small bell.call up max rpm and get a bando 787 belt.
