The R1 and the Crossfire should be of equal value if the conditions are the same and the mileage on the sled isn't high. The crossfire is a wikked sled.. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

my dads R1 is probabley the nicest 2006 you could ever get-its got GYTR Carbon Fiber Dual Slip-Ons.The sleds very nice,my dads already got a couple offers on the bike, one offered 6500,my dads asking 6900.But idk

Not quite sure what sleds are worth in your neck of the woods ... but a Crossfire 8 here in my area , brand new from the dealership, is worth about $12 000.... so take 2 years off that for depreciation and you're looking at about $7500 for the sled .... and at $7500 that's one hell of a good deal ( as long as it's not been beat to hell).

If you've never ridden a Crossfire , let me tell you , they're a great handling machine with tons of power. The Cats have great engines ( suzuki engines) and are very reliable. I'd only buy 2 brands of sleds .. the Cats and the Doos. I had the chance to ride my uncle's F8 and it moves pretty good. You can lift the skis for as long as you'd like and still run all day on one tank of fuel.
