i found an 05 450r on craigslist that says it needs a crank and the guy wants to trade for my 400ex not sure if im deffinetly gonna do it or not but if i do what should i look for when i look at the machine is it likely just gonna need the crank replaced or is more probably wrong the guy said it wasnt siezed when i talked to him just need a few tips and mainly an opinion on whether or not its a good deal for me

Keep the 400ex.

Look, the motor is sitting out in the open, not covered up or anything. The quad looks like crap bro.

I'm with hondaracer_34. if the quad is left outside without the engine covered up then this should tell you a lot about the owner. If it has been out side uncovered for a while then it could need more than a crank in order to fix it properly. Even if the quad is covered up, the top of the engine being off and not sealed up would bother me. Dust and dirt along with moisture could get in there. Just my opinion
