I'm not totally sure but I think that is close to stock width. I run +2 arms with a 4-1 off set wheel so I'm only 2" wider than stock. I fit through our xc tracks ok and we have some tight stuff around here!.

that is a good option along with +1s with regular 3:2 offset rims. it depends on how narrow the xc trails will actually be i suppose. lol steve

There's not alot of selections when It comes to +1 arms. I get mine from Wicked products and he don't make them +1. I've read and heard that a 4-1 offset is better for handiling due to less wheel scrub(or something like that)

agreed there :( it is possible i have heard the same on the rims. there are so many ways to go about getting the same width :D i know dallas likes his 4:1 offsets with the 3s and would probably do it with 2s if he was going to get a narrower setup. he has his set up for more of the mx style of build so he likes the 3s. if it was me running woods, i would leave the stock width and get some 2:3 rims and be good to go. you will be about 1" wider total which would be good for the tight trails i ride and it would be much cheaper for me. the arms do look nice though so you have to factor that into the equation. lol steve:devil:

From all the info I have seen, it goes like this.

If you look at the quad from the front you’ll see the front ball joints, the farther the ball joint is from the center of the front tire will have a negative affect on bump steer. You can run +2 but use a rim that pushes the center of the tire closer to the ball joint, this will give you a little bit more travel but still keep the bike the same width and will reduce bump steer.

well said, i plan on buyin 4+1 front wheels soon because the bump steer got worse when i put my +2's on.

If I could buy a XC setup i'd go with +2's and 4:1 wheels, that way you have alittle added width but with less bumpsteer.

The only thing with 4:1 offset is, it may come close to the ball joint or heims, with my Roll setup the top heims comes fairly close to the inner lip of the rim but does not come in conctact with it even when compressed.

Just something to look out for.
