I am sorry for making another one of these threads. I don't want to make any conflicts here so if you have anything negative, don't even put it. Looking for straight answers please. This is just out of curiosity so I don't mind if no one even answers....
Anyways, here is my current setup (Hope I get everything)

2000 400ex
Bored to a 426 with 11:1 high compression running on 92 pump fuel
Uni High flow air filter (with lid on)
LRD Pro 4 Series Exhaust (Slip on)
Ported and polished headers
Ported and polished head (intake and outtake)
Stage 2 Hotcam
K&N Oil Filter (If it helps any?)
Stock carburetor with 182 main, 42 pilot, 3rd clip needle
I think thats all for now. Just got it and I think everything is powerful enough for me so far. I am a brand new rider so I shouldn't outgrow it too fast =)
All answers are appreciated

I made 39whp with it being dyno tuned with mod's listed below i assume 43whp..give or take 1/2....

I hope to hit 46-47 with port n polished head, +1mm valves, 450r carb, and upgraded springs, cam-chain and rev box....

37-39 hp is just about right, could be a bit high but will get you in the ball park. steve

Wow. Never would have expected it to be as high as a 450. Well, guess I will see how fast it is after today. I got new gaskets, valve seals (which were leaking =/), spark plug, oil filter, changed the jets from 162/38 to 182/42, and cleaned up ( I mean made everything pretty much polished) the whole inside. Piston, cylinder, head, valves, everything looks almost brand spankin new. I am very proud with what I did and hopefully I will see a performance increase.

man you mite want to watch what you say.

about it being so fast or that it has the same hp of a 450.

your post mite get closed like mine or moved by ron and steve.

they dont like it when we talk about drag racing or racing each other with 400's and 450's.

so good luck with your post.

I'm sorry if it came off like that. I don't race at all. I was just saying I was surprised that the horsepower was about the same as a stock 450.
