We have a nice dirt track about 40 miles down the road, though I’ve been by it hundreds of times I’ve never been there. I don’t know why I haven’t been, maybe one of these days.

My dad used to own a dirt track, its awesome racing! As they say; dirts for racing, asphalts for getting there! Nothin lk seein a 600hp late model never lift all the way around a 3/8mile high bank oval

what size track was he on? he had to be moving to tear it up like that. I used to race micro sprint before i race quads. Balaz_73*00 what track did your dad own? i go to alot of races in indiana. watch the world of outlaws at pevely mo. this weekend and it was crazy watching them never lift on a 1/3 mile track and average 117 mph on such a small tack.

When we owned it, it was called Benton County Speedway in Boswell IN but when we sold it the guy named it Kamp Motor Speedway

he sticks to sharon and mercer speed way. and sportsmans speed way in knox pa wich is a joke. track is 1/3 mile loop. he was hauling the mail when a the guy in second spun him out on purpose. the battle for third was two wide, and both of them ran into the side of his car.

his uncle is a well known racer in our area, and he used to run a car for a guy. he started to look out for his son a little more then worry about winning for the guy he was racing for and got fired from that car. know there is a fued between the guys because of what happened. its been an on going battle since then but this crossed the line.

i go there some times good racing. but calvert city is a great track to go watch. we usually go to the race that they have around halloween time. i cant remember what it's called. i usually go to haubstaut (sp) indiana and pevely mo. and the duquion mile when the usac's race and indoor duqion track.

we havent really touched it to much. only a few more races left in the season and a car that needs overhauled. left side wheels tires, motor tranny, seat fuel cell, and random ressies is all that we know is good for sure.

yea that chassis is pretty torn up. thats to bad, but at least it wasnt the 1st race of the season i guess. And i hope he wasnt in a points battle either.

Where i'm at my closest track is princeton speedway, it's the "fastest 1/4 mile in minnesota" it actually is fast and high banked. WoO makes 1 trip a year here, just the sprints so far. I am partial to late models, however winged sprints are plain nuts to.

Also another close track for me is cedar lake speedway. Much more known, 3/8th semi hi banked, and they have the amsoil indoor mx track.

sadly i have at least 4-5 dirt trakes to me that are closer than any atv trail system:mad:

New front clip and a jig will fix it it looks like. The guy that hit him had to be SCOOTIN!!! Seems like he went in to hard, didn't stick, adn wam... Racin is fun and all but I hate the bonzi-buckos when they can't stick it in there right. When it's done right... LOVE to see it :) Glad he was ok though, that's what I like bout center steer cars. SAFER then offsets anyday!!!

in the video he stuck just fine untill the guy in second decided not to counter steer completely and push him into the loose stuff up top. front clips fine it the rear shock tower and rub rail brackets that need welded.

man I hate to see that. Thats the main reason I cant do any circle track racing. Dont have the money, skills, resources to build a car back.

There are several tracks that I try to go to. Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat VA is a beautiful, fast 1/2 mile. East Lincoln Speedway is only 15 minutes from my house. And Carolina Speedway is a good track about 45 minutes from here.

I love to watch dirt track racing.

kyle you guys ever make the trip out to Wayne county Speedway in Orrville Ohio? We have quite a few Sharon speedway guys come out during the season.
love the car but like others i am a late model fan but any dirt race beats a asphalt race anyday.

Cars looking good man! I'm sure I'll be seeing it this year, my brother races limited sprints out at Sharon and now mercer this year. Waiting on a few last parts for our car and it'll be all ready finally!
