400ex hood

i know this topic has been kicked around in so many other threads but im just too lazy to look for the pics again. lol. i am looking to either get a maier scooped hood for the 05 or get a 450 hood. i forget what all had to be done to mount the r hood on the ex, wasnt much if i remember right. but if you have pics of the 450 vs the scooped hood i would be very happy.

does that hood just snap into place or is there more to it?

does that hood just snap into place or is there more to it? It's a direct fit. All you do is drill some holes in the side of the front and put some bolts through. The the top goes on with some bolts and well nuts. Install was like 5 minutes.
