Neutral light is burnt out! :)

I honestly didn't see me building this but I was at Lowes for a rake... and I came home with some Lexan and a new Dremel 4000..

Looks good. When i made mine I was looking at the Rox dash plate and decided i could make one myslef rather than spend $30 on one. Although isnt metal it does the job and if I roll it over and break it, its cheap to replace.

Did you have any trouble mounting the key switch? Mine was loose and wanted to keep poping out. I think i made the hole just a little too big. i put a little hot glue around it and it's fine now.

Na, needless to say I definitely took my time for the ignition, now the bolt holes on the other hand.. haha. I just used the Dremel sander and sanded a layer and then tried putting it in/repeat.

And honestly, if you roll it might not even break... it IS 250x stronger than glass. :)

that is me hen:p
and to work with this stuff just put a small nic where you want the bend to be on both sides and get a 100* bend or so then start the hammer abuse. and for the holes a drill press and clamp makes life much easier. TRUST ME if i can make one you can

umm i dont think the key is on!? oh wait in a few of them it is

I thought about painting mine black but wasnt sure how the paint would stick to the lexan and it would look pretty crappy once it started to scratch off.

Any material you are comfortable working with will serve the purpose and I like this kind of solution better than drilling holes in the plastics of the quad to mount them.

I'll add the picture of mine to this thread for anyone else who my read it.

Worded well, plus Lexan happens to look badass. :)

down under the hood out of the way but still reachable and its stainless steel

That looks nice. Before i made mine I just zip tied everything under the hood. There's a ton of room under there and if you place them right you can still see the lights and reach the key switch.
