shock covers

i have 450r shocks on the front of my 400ex and a stock one on the back. will ex covers fit on them or do i need to order a set for a 450r, and if so will the 450r cover fit my stock rear. thanks

I just put my stock 400ex covers on my new 450r shocks (OuterWears I think). They are more snug than when on the 400ex shocks but they will fit just fine. I believe the 450r rear shocks and 400ex rear shocks are just about the same so the covers should fit.

thanks man. if the rear shock is about the same size then i will just order some for a 450r then

I highly recommend Dirt Skins (http://dirtskins.com). They're made out of neoprene not nylon like other shock covers. Machine washable and won't scratch your coils. Just tell them you want two 450r fronts and a 400EX rear. I had some custom made for my KFX 450 fronts and they fit perfectly. Cost me $45 and they included some stickers and a t-shirt.
