i got an 05 yfz hmf pipe k an n and jet kit what can i do to make it faster for drags with out touchin the motor??

Without touching the motor really nothing without buying new parts you can do the "exhaust cam mod" which retards the exhaust cam 1 tooth clockwise and should give you more on top if im not mistaken like i said its free but you will have to get your hands dirty :) goodluck

About the only thing you can do is lose weight, either on your quad or yourself. Otherwise you're gonna have to open the motor up.

are you getting the most out of your motor by having it jetted right? just cause you have a K&N kit, does not mean it is right.

first off im a foam only guy! that said i have heard lotta good bout the dirt bike clutch setup i know that is kinda opening the motor but you can lay the quad over and not even lose any oil. Also the cam mod is easy and so worth it. Dirt wheels mag had their female intern do it for the mag jus to show how easy it is.

XCracer is right jetting is key! The right pilot for that first grunt makes all the dif.

yea dude just youtube the yfz450 cam-mod it will give you more mid-top end and also jetting and gearing like were mentioned above...

I recently raced a HOOKED up yfz 450 on a 300ft dirt track.

I believe he had a P&P, drag pipe, bigger carb, cam, high compression, lock out clutch and a few other mods, the quads going down the track were loud when he was telling me his mods....lol.

but heres the video, it was against my 300ft 440ex.

He mostly races 300 and 500ft dirt drags

And u said a 400ex wouldnt beat your 450, makes me wanta rebuild my 400 just to show u up lol but then again i could always use the bike, ya bike for sure 450 against 450 2 wheels vs 4

just bought my yfz and id say ditch the k @n and get a pro flow kit with a uni and full exahust..maybe mess with sprockets
