Did you drain the tank?

clean air filter also.
if it has fresh gas and a clean air cleaner, then you need to rebuild carb with new seals and gaskets and clean again and blow out carb with an air nozzle

did you run a cleaner and probe through the jets??

If you have to use the chock to keep it running, it sounds like the pilot jet is plugged for sure.
I would only guess that the others are in the same condition.
Berrymans is some good carb cleaner....
I would start removing all the jets and clean them and all air passages.
Good luck.

i had the carb apart and took out all the jets and hit them with 2+2 carb cleaner and compresed air and it still had the same problem. the second time i soked it in cleaner for a day and hit with the compresed air a second time and still no luck.

Maybe try a fresh plug.Did you adjust the a/f screw? I would do a complete tune up,if you haven't already.Probably something simple being overlooked. Any air leaks around the intake and carb maybe?

When you remove and clean the jets, are you making sure they are clean?
Hold them up to a light and make sure the hole is clear.
main jet. slow jet, main jet holder, all air bleeds.
Float needle and seat also.
Keep us posted, good luck.
