my friends dad is taking us on a riding trip here in about a week and a half but my plastics are looking pretty chity. there's no stress marks just scratches do you guys have any tricks beside heat gun? any help appreciated

for a temporary high shine use a vinyl floor polish like pledge it will only last a few pressure washes but it looks great for a little while! everyone thought I bought new plastics until it started to wear off, it fills in all the scratches and gouges

thanks ill try it out. but does anyone know how to get rid of those damn riding scratches from your pants. thats what looks the worst.:mad:

Google = plastic renew

Pretty sure that's what is called.
It a 3 stage kit that will make them like new again.

the plastic renew is temporary also! as far as the black scratches I use 0000 steel wool and Westley bleach white, lightly scrub only!

The scratch marks on the side of the fenders from your pants will come out with a heat gun. Iv done it many times.
