Ours is 45"and a half in the front. Houser Slycast 400ex xc a-arms with 450r Fox Float E-vols shocks with a Rath Racing shock relocater. Works perfect! Handles like a dream. But Pricy.

right now im over 48 and am running a durablue eliminator. for my woods, its ok because if the bobcat can make it, why cant my bike. but if i go riding with some friends, im not so sure. do you guys ever hit any tight spots where you dont think 48 would make it? i would go back to stock, but its just too narrow, imo. maybe stock with RAD 1" spacers?

you would have no trouble at a GNCC with 48inch axle.

RPM Dominator2 rear axel,LSR carrier,JB Racing plus 2 swinger here. I'd try to keep it about 45"or so,

How is it only 45 with an aftermarket axle? Mine went to like 48 with my durablue. whats a good engine set up? being that i dont race, i want to get the powroll 350 stroker kit or 350x engine with 430 kit!

I just went out and remeasured the quad. The front is 47" and the rear is 46" and a half. I don't know the length of the rear axel. These measurments are outside width of the tires.

oh ya, mines only like 48 to the outside of the tires, not a 48 axle. i just went through some trails ive never been on and i was fine so i suppose itll be all right. i want smaller rear tires though. I currently have 22-11-10 on douglas red labels and im wanting 20-10-9 either on new rims or stockers. but still, it should narrow me up a little, correct? unless of course the offset is way different? also, scratch that stroker motor idea, i think ill just go with a 330 or maybe just hi comp stock bore. thanks for all your help so far, youve been very helpful and will prolly continue to be. hopefully this thread helps somebody else too.
