Are the Raps faster than the Warrior? I know they're pretty much the same but I seen the Rappy weighs like 22lbs less than the old Warrior. Does that difference in weight make any difference?

i would think 22lbs would definitly make a difference.

power to weight ratio.

less upspring weight.

less centrifical force in hard turns.

more nimble.

that seems correct. i know when i had my 400ex they claimed like 375 and i guarantee it was more like 400-410lbs.

go pick up a 20 pound weight... it ain't that much.... the weight of quads is way over hiped.... like most ppl think the 700r is 435 when its really around 470curb....... ill put 100$ down that i could put a 20 weight on the bottom of ur quad and u wont even know...

honda's web site had always said 408 crub and that's correct.... ive seen many quads get weighed be4..... honda, ktm polaris and can am are the only 450 atv's that are under 400 pounds.. if the kfx has the kick starter and carb kit with no battery or fuel pump its also under 400 pounds

i disagree. first off, where the 20 lb weight is placed will have an effect on handling. dynamic forces are considered when a machine is designed. an emphesis on balance and low center of mass is at the top of the list.

now add this 20 lb weight and go for a run on a track. take that time and compare it to the time you get without the 20 lb. weight...

hmm 22 pounds lighter, i think that this is mainly in the gas tank, lights, bumpers, and plastic, ana subframe, and carb, cause basically everything else is the same.....just compare riding with a full tank of fuel compared to an empty tank,,,, not enough to matter

My father had a warrior for years, and my friend had a Raptor 350.

The warrior just felt heavier and bulkier. Honestly, the Rappy felt a little light and easier to maneuver.

Also, they put a slightly more aggressive camshaft in the Rappy. Added slightly more power but gave it a narrower powerband.
