Ok, an you man have seem, i have a hybrid, I am using a yfz rad, and wanting to use the fan to help cool it. i can get a stator and rectifer for the motor so i can have 12v. I have seen the fan motors have a coolant line coming out of them , does it hook up to the over flow? what do the two wires coming out of the fan hook up to? What are the two sensors on the rad? Can these be used to set up my fan? i would like to make it an automatic switch, just like on the stock yfz, once it reaches a certain temp, the fan kicks in. a wiring diagram would be great!

the hose is a vent not a cooling line just leave it hang...one side it the power side and the other is the ground normally you have power to the fan all the time and then the other side goes to a thermal switch, then the thermal switch hasa wire to ground....once temp gets hot enough that switch closes creating connectivity to ground completing the circuit
what i would do is power once side all the time...and if you wanted it to run all the time just ground out the other side...or you can use a handlebar mounted toggle inline from ground to manually turn it on and off when u wanted.
hope this helps
