I don't Know what those things are but they look like they would do the trick. Heat them up and I like to heat up the tamers a little bit on each knob I do. They look like they will work

They look sorta like bolt cutters w/ big toe nail clippers on the end.

I sell a hot knife that is made for grooving for $75. It works great but those pliers look like they work pretty good.

My Way of Grooveing tires!!
- i put mine on my quad went out to the road got them a lil warm By spining them:cool:

- the i came back to the garge to put alot of air in them and to a razor blade for like takein inspection stickers off of cars!

-The purpis for the road things is to get the tread a lil easy so that it aint so hard to cut

-make sure u got a new razor black in it because its really easier and please dun cut ur self :scary:

i was thinking about this and in plubing thre is a braided wire with little handles on the end kinda looks like this.

|-------------------------------|

and you move back and forth with it and it works like a hack saw.

my guess is that it would be easier to manuver than a blade. and cheaper than the clippers, possibly a cleaner cut.

My friend grooved his with a heat gun and a Schrade. Unfortunately, about 1/2 way through the 2nd tire he grooved his palm too.

Grooving opens up the tread pattern to get more grip and forward bite.
