i ordered some pep's yesterday....well today he called and said the only way i can run a small body rear shock is to use the walsh linkage.....didnt know anyones input on this. is the only dif the weight??? i know the ltr is a tank already so if i can save some weight i guess i should idk what do u guys think????

usually the small bodies are for tt or flat track, stick with the normal shock

Elka is amazing suspension my purple yamaha 250x has it the steering is also great make sure you have linkage good tho for it to work

what is a yamaha 250x?^^^^^^

but anyways you will want a big bottle becuase they have much better fading resistance and the weight that it saves is not worth it

He's not recommending the Walsh linkage for weight savings. He's after the progression that the Walsh linkage offers. The small bottle will increase the rate and magnitude the air spring with respect to shaft travel. Therefore, the walsh probably has a lower progression percentage, and it wouldn't ride as harsh.

mx Eli is correct. The weight saved between small and big bottle is negligible. Same with the linkages.
