I have an '06 400ex and I am fairly new to riding. I have been riding a couple local tracks quite a bit lately and I am getting much better. I am already starting to experience bottoming out in the front shocks off some of the jumps. I don't have much money and I can't afford after market shocks so I am thinking of buying a used set of stock shock from a Honda 450r. I understand that they will fit my 400ex. Would I see much increase in performance?

What do you guys think?

Thanks

i sold someone on here kfx450r front shocks, they need to be grinded a little or something like that to work, but i heard they work great. i would imagine 450r shocks works just as well. look in the 400ex forum, ull prob get a better answer.

Jparisi - Thanks for the input. I hadn't thought about the using that forum. I found a number of good threads and it seems like there is a big improvement. Guess I'll start keeping my eyes open for a good deal.
