View Full Version : Thinking of buying 07 outlaw 558 NEED OPIONS!!!

Is the 558 bored a good deal or is going to be more trouble? Basically are these quads bored out to 558 reliable , here is what the ad said , please help me decide------2007 polaris quad never been wrecked or rolled. some mods added, big bore kit, oversided cam, and bigger jet in the carborator. its been bored from a 500 to a 558. the pics i have are from red creek off road. its fun and dependable. please only serious callers--------------------------------------------Also what issues did the 07s have? And what should I look out for ?? I got one shot at this my new raptor got stolen and i didnt have insurance and this is all the money i have for a quad , thanks for any help

Also I can pick up a 450 mxr polaris 08 for 2000 right now , I only ride xc what is the better of the 2 quads ....Also the outlaw 500 is 2000.00 also

What i REALLY want is the outlaw 525 !!!!!!!!I thought i had a guy talked down to 2300 then he bailed lmao

Hold out for a 525 IRS if you are an XC guy.

Of the 2 wheelers you are looking at, I would go with the 08 450. But if your not in a hurry, wait for the 525...But I am sure you will need more cash for the 525.

Thanks for pushing me towards the 525 , going pick one up tomorrow its a 07 in great shape for 2200!!!!!!! To me thats the deal of a lifetime , took a week of talking him into it lol , oh and I am throwing in a new 37" lcd Tv never opened

Did you get it? How'd you like it. I had to re-do the rear housing bearing and valve shims on my 500. Other than that it has been an awesome ride....

nice thing about the KTM for about $900 you can make that 450 a 540 or 570 with a big bore kit.

Yeah end up picking up the 525 , loving it so far , other than the funny quirks , I guess thats a polaris thing . I have already sunk about 1800 on top of purchase price , into new maier plastics , new hipers , upgrading wheel bearings , bars , and quite a few other little things . Really like the bike , it has one hell of a ride and not to mention gobs of torque right from the start all the way to the top
