Awhile back someone replaced the clutch in my '03 400ex. All is fine except they replaced with some very heavy duty springs. Now it is very difficult and tiring to pull in the clutch. I want to put back in the OEM springs. I don't want to have to take it to someone but have never replaced a clutch before. I looked at the diagram and it looks like I can just pull off the cover (after draining the oil) and the springs will be right there accesible. My plan was just to replace them one at a time sequentially while leaving the remaining springs tightened down. anything wrong with that plan?

You can do it that way.If its to stiff, try using three of the heavy duty springs and two of the oem or visa-versa.It helps out alot.Had to do that for my wife.
